Do they serve a purpose in my reading schedule? Jul 04, Nik rated it it was ok. I read Watchers, and Twilight, and many of his books back in the 80s and 90s.
The author describes it as a weird confluence of events based off a singularity of an event. Dean Koontz can write a really great story.
You’ll get more out of it than bothering to read this book. A quote from chapter Michelle Matthews-Calloway Greg, I believe it’s more so that the creatures started a NEW beginning for mankind right there in Earth’s present environment.
The realization I came to upon finishing the novel, is that this was just a conglomerate of unrelated novellas and short stories that are forced together through contrived, thin plot threads. The dead Ranger’s daddy is a Dr who knows Ranger B who is mad at Senator too-oh he’s found an animal and here is the Dr.!
Ok, that was the last one I promise This should have been a novel to grab new readers, but instead it will push them away. This was extremely disappointing to me, especially since that particular story was the most interesting by far.
I’ve simplified it for you this time. The font is massive, the chapters are James Patterson-level short. When I finally got out of the hospital and returned home the day before Thanksgiving, the book was waiting in a box for me.

breatjless He builds up a fantastic premise and stands you up with the last page of the book. Being paper-thin would be an improvement over what we get here. And it hasn’t been checked for mistakes by our consultants!

Your Heart Belongs to Me and Breathlfss Darkest Evening of the Year should be proud; though they’re still awful, awful things, I could almost say I’d rather reread either of the. For the past thirteen years his novels have done that to me, and it all started with From the Far Corner of His Eye. At least those had some sort of bearing on the character. I would have liked to see the book expanded and more complete. Besides being a pointless bore of a book – don’t get me started on one of the characters whose rant against evolution made me physically ill. The pasts of the characters, rather than actually adding to the story, are just there as filler.

Once I was in my new apartment, I stacked the fifteen big boxes of books up against the living room wall I have a very small apartment and the bedroom closet was already full with the intention of eventually buying a nice, giant-size bookcase to hold the majority of them, which I finally did several months ago.
The plot, and for that matter the characters are disjointed and just don’t hang together. As a somewhat jaded member of humanity, I find myself a bit cynical and am not often shocked by what I find between the pages of my preferred escape mechanism…books.

It seemed as if a lot of the characters from some of Koontz’s other books decided to get together and “do a book”. Now as I review it-I consider giving it a one star. With millions of generations of billions of individuals, you can have trillions of mutations.
